Powdered Activated Carbon (PAC) is a fine carbon powder with a large surface area and strong ability to adsorb impurities. In the water and wastewater treatment industry, PAC is used to remove organic contaminants, colour, odours, and harmful chemicals by trapping them on its surface. It is commonly added to water or wastewater during treatment and later removed by settling or filtration.
