Eautec Descalant For Boiler/ Heat Exchanger/ Condenser Treatment Programme

Descalants are chemical agents specifically formulated to remove scale deposits from boilers, heat exchangers, condensers, and other water-handling equipment. Scale buildup, typically caused by calcium, magnesium, and iron deposits, reduces heat transfer efficiency and increases energy consumption. Descalants contain acidic compounds (such as hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, or citric acid) along with corrosion inhibitors to dissolve scale while protecting metal surfaces.

Types of Polyelectrolytes & Flocculants:

  1. Cationic Polyelectrolytes (Positively Charged): Used for sludge dewatering, organic matter removal, and in wastewater treatment.

  2. Anionic Polyelectrolytes (Negatively Charged): Effective in clarifying raw water, treating industrial effluents, and removing inorganic particles.

  3. Non-ionic Polyelectrolytes (Neutral Charge): Used in applications where charge interactions are not required, often in conjunction with coagulants.
